Skylands
Floor Five
Enclosed in a large, five thousand foot diameter room, sits a collection of large stone islands. They have a narrow base and expand out at the top like mushroom caps, ranging from several hundred feet wide to only a few dozen. Near the end of the room, the islands are collapsed, forcing invaders to venture down to the ground to make their way across. Along the outer walls, exposed iron veins house dens and burrows for flying creatures, as well as three battlefields for insects to compete over pure mana. Beneath the islands is a jagged land with streams of water and no way out except for climbing.
Boon from Khasvar, God of Lightning.
All ambient mana on the floors becomes electrified, arching and forking around like actual lightning. It both damages invaders and powers inhabitants.
